Lifewater International is a Christian organization that focuses on holistic water development training around the world. Qualified, U.S-based Volunteer Trainers (VTs) train nationals overseas in the technical and community development skills needed to improve their own water supplies, and hygiene and sanitation conditions in their communities.

Our programs are designed to be a visible form of God’s grace in the world. We seek to integrate spiritual and physical principles throughout our training programs. Our water development programs use cost-effective technologies and community participation. Below are our most successful methods of accessing, using, and maintaining safe drinking water.

Biosand Filters
Biosand Filter Construction gives people the skills to build simple, effective water filters with locally available materials.
