Partner Organizations

partner organizations Lifewater’s International's in-country partners are the most important component of Lifewater’s strategy for sustainable development. Lifewater partners are indigenous groups committed to helping communities improve their health and well-being through sustainable water systems and the knowledge of God's love. Lifewater’s in-country partners work at the local community level, drilling wells, repairing hand pumps, teaching latrine construction, and training community members in essential hygiene skills. They translate and contextualize Lifewater training and curriculum. Lifewater’s partner organizations are a permanent and effective force for change in their communities and nations.

Because Lifewater invests so much time, knowledge, and resources in its in-country partners, our relationships with them are carefully cultivated. Every partner organization has been through an involved application process and goes through months of assessment and dialogue before forming an official partnership with Lifewater. After the partnership is formed, Lifewater and the partner develop a long-term relationship based on mutual trust and respect. As an important part of the relationship, Lifewater sends North American volunteer field trainers to help train the partners in its WASH (water, sanitation, and hygiene) programs.

For those interested in becoming a Lifewater partner organization:
We know that the need for safe water, adequate sanitation, and effective hygiene is great, and we would like to assist others working in this area. However, we are currently limited in our ability to consider new partnerships. If you would like us to have your request on file, please submit the information below to projects@lifewater.org. Please be aware that, because we have limited staff time, we may not be able to respond personally to you.

1. Your organization's name and date of founding
2. Organization's description
3. Organization’s mission statement
4. Geographic region(s) where you work
5. Affiliations with other organizations
6. Number of paid staff
7. Water, sanitation, and/or hygiene related need your organization would like to address

For those seeking more immediate assistance with water wells, latrines, rainwater catchments, or other related engineering projects:
We recommend that you contact Engineers without Borders (www.ewb-usa.org), a quality organization that focuses on this type of work.

We hope you are blessed in your service and are able to find the support that you need to help communities gain safe water!
